Keystone versus a job board
A job board finds people who are looking. Most senior engineers are not.
| A job board | Keystone | |
|---|---|---|
| Who you reach | The applicants who happen to be looking this month, a small share of the market | The whole market for the role, including the three quarters who are employed and not looking |
| Who does the reading | You, through hundreds of applications, most of them unqualified | The system scores every profile; you see the few who fit |
| Cost | $300 to $700 per posting, plus your team’s time | A success fee, only when you hire |
| Screening | None; the interview is the first filter | A structured call before you meet anyone, and a brief |
| Time | The posting runs for weeks; the reading never ends | Ten business days to a scored shortlist |
When a job board is the better choice: junior and mid-level roles with many qualified applicants, or a common skill in a large city. Post the role on your own board anyway; it costs nothing and it is where our candidates check that you are real.
